Stanley Byrd, Ed. D., ICF Upstate NY
Pronouns: he, his, and him.
Stanley currently serves as the Chief Diversity Officer at
Episcopal Health Services in Far Rockaway, Queens, NY. Chief Diversity Officer for a 257-bed acute care
teaching hospital in Far Rockaway, NY. St. John's has a robust academic and
teaching program with over 160 residents in six specialties, and numerous
medical school affiliations. In 2021, Byrd created NorthStar
Consulting Circle, which focuses on professional, personal, and spiritual
coaching and leadership development.
Stanley is a servant leader with a broad background in working
with non-profit, community-based organizations and healthcare throughout the
greater Rochester Metropolitan Area. His leadership and experience span more
than twenty years. They include but are not limited to leadership development,
professional and personal coaching, human resources management, staff training
and development, organizational development, diversity, equity, inclusion
training, and program development.
Byrd is a Certified Associate Coach through the International
Coach Federation. Coaching has deeply influenced his work with individuals and
organizations in the diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging framework. As
a lifetime learner, he is further developing skills using emerging applications
of innovations in coaching that include neuroscience and trauma-informed.
Dr. Byrd is a graduate of Saint John Fisher University, from which he earned an Ed. D. in Executive Leadership.
